Public Service Company of Oklahoma plans to highlight its environmental performance along with the opening of the largest wind farm built at one time in North America on Wednesday.
The company will make a presentation Wednesday morning at the Tulsa Enviro-Expo, Guthrie Green, 111 E. Reconciliation Way.
PSO is a subsidiary of American Electric Power which has pledged to achieve net zero carbon dioxide emissions by 2050 and to reduce emissions 80% from 2000 levels by 2030.
PSO stated that its recent completion of the North Central Energy Facilities and other pending PSO projects are big steps toward achieving that goal.
