Crude prices settled Thursday afternoon back below $100 a barrel after hitting $105 hours after the Russian invasion and military attack against Ukraine.
West Texas Intermediate crude for April delivery rose 71 cents to finish at $92.81 a barrel in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Global benchmark Brent crude for May delivery went up $1.37 and closed at $95.42 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe based in London.
March natural gas fell 5 cents to $4.57 per 1,000 cubic feet.
Most Oklahoma energy stocks recorded a day of modest gains with 4% increases seen by a few but a 15% jump for LSB Industries.
