Just as Oklahoma has learned from the series of damaging earthquakes believed directly tied to oil and gas drilling that hit the state over the past several years, Texas is adjusting as well.

The Texas Tribune reported that Texas recorded more than  200 earthquakes with a magnitude of 3 or greater in 2021 and like the many, many cases in Oklahoma were believed to be the result of wastewater injection wells.
