The Oklahoma Energy Relations Board announced this week a program to honor teachers.
Called the Top Ten Teachers of 2022, the OERB said there’s nothing more important to our future than our teachers. It plans to honor the state’s exceptional teachers and each of the top ten will receive $5,000 and another $2,000 will be awarded to their schools.
The OERB has a March 11 deadline and is asking Oklahomans to visit OEREB.com/topten to make a nomination.
“One of our core missions is education,” said OERB Executive Director Mindy Stitt. “2022 has been another challenging year for teachers and their students. We want to give special thanks to those who have gone above and beyond”
The awards will be made, in person, later this year at either a Tulsa Drillers or Oklahoma City Dodgers baseball game.
