Public regulators in Texas have taken steps to avoid a repeat of the state’s energy emergency caused by last February’s Winter Storm Uri.
The Public Utility Commission approved a move cutting the wholesale electricity price cap from $9,000 per megawatt hour to $5,000 reported Reuters.
