Iowa’s environmental regulators are asking their state attorney general to investigate an out-of-state wind turbine manufacturer for illegally storing hundreds of wind turbine blades in three Iowa towns.
The Iowa Capital Dispatch reported the firm, Global Fiberglass Solutions Inc. stored 1,300 turbines in the towns and missed deadlines to either bury them in landfills or ship them out of state.
