Crude oil held its own on Friday but Oklahoma energy stocks suffered

Crude oil prices saw only a slight increase at the close of trade on Friday, offsetting a few days of drops in price as concerns still existed over what OPEC might do and whether a rise in coronavirus cases might lead to lockdowns and depressed demand.

West Texas Intermediate crude oil for August delivery finished up 16 cents to finish at $71.81 a barrel.
Global benchmark Brent crude oil for September delivery managed a 12-cent increase to settle at $73.59 on ICE Futures Europe.
Oklahoma energy stocks had a bad day with Cypress Environmental Partners LP recording a loss of 10.50% as shares dropped 25 cents to $2.13.
LSB Industries lost 8.60% on a 48 cent drop to $5.10 and PHX Minerals Inc. suffered a 7.38% loss as its shares fell 24 cents to settle at $3.01. NGL Energy Partners LP recorded a loss of 7.25% on a 17 cent slide to $2.11.
