The recent cyberattack on Colonial Pipeline, one of the largest pipelines in the U.S. brought the seriousness of the issue to the attention of energy companies nationwide. Only now are some of them awakening to what could happen.
A report by the newsletter Truthout, showed how even the American Petroleum Institute has changed its political stance on the issue.
