Crude oil prices rebounded on Wednesday by nearly 1% and Oklahoma energy stocks recorded gains for the day.
Crude oil’s gain was from a two-month low and came about because of crude storage data and an International Energy Agency forecast for weaker global oil demand growth.
West Texas Intermediate crude went up 61 cents or 0.8% to finish at $78.63 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Brent crude, the global benchmark rose 37 cents or 0.5% and settled at $82.75 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.
June natural gas rose 11 cents to $2.30 per 1,000 cubic feet.
Oklahoma energy stocks had a mixed day Tuesday. Thirteen of the 22 were higher, with one flat.
