The growing surge of electric vehicles prompted 31 electric cooperatives in the Upper Midwest to form a coalition to create a regional EV charging network in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
They formed the CHARGE EV network near major highways and interstates with hopes of assuring Midwest drivers they can take long drives without the fear of running out of power according to T&D World.
