While Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, a member of the Pueblo tribe, has helped President Biden lead his push against oil and gas in the U.S., she is not supported by all Native American tribes.

The Osage Indian tribe in Oklahoma is among some who value the revenue gained from oil and gas operations. The Osage control all energy operations in Osage County and the tribe is against the Biden administration’s heavy hand on oil and gas operations.

So are other tribes according to the Associated Press.
