Permian Basin oil headed to European markets

More oil from the Permian Basin in West Texas and Southeast New Mexico is headed to Europe.

It is part of an agreement reached by Max Midstream of Houston and the Calhoun Port Authority in south Texas where the Permian oil will be shipped to international markets.

The Carlsbad Current Argus reported it is a nearly 50-year agreement.
