Losses by Oklahoma energy stocks as 2020 approaches an end

A handful of Oklahoma energy companies saw slight gains in their stock on Monday as they started the last week of trading in 2020.

It came as crude oil prices were mixed. Benchmark US crude for February delivery gained 17 cents. West Texas Intermediate crude closed at $47.79 a barrel in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Global benchmark Brent crude for February delivery dropped 43 cents to close at $50.86 a barrel in trading on ICE Futures Europe.

Otherwise, others suffered losses including Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. which suffered a 4.43% drop as stocks fell 20 cents to $4.31. Blueknight Energy Partners LP Fell nearly 4% as shares lost 7 cents to settle at $2.02. Chesapeake Energy Corporation lost 7 cents or 3.54% to finish at $1.91.

Cypress Environmental Partners LP lost 14 cents for a nearly 6% decline to $2.24. Devon Energy Corp finished up 2 cents at $15.35. Enable Midstream Partners LP finished down 19 cents at $5.17 for a 3.54% loss.

Gulfport Energy Corporation had a very slight increase to 5 cents a share, which amounted to a gain of 1.76%. Helmerich & Payne, Inc. fell 52 cents to $23.68 for a loss of 2.15%. LSB Industries, Inc. gained 5 cents to end the day at $2.82 for a gain of about 2%.
Laredo Petroleum Inc lost 98 cents to settle at $19.73, amounting to a nearly 5% drop. Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. fell 37 cents to $42.41 for a 1% loss. Mammoth Energy Services Inc finished up one cent at $4.62.
Matrix Service Co lost 43 cents to finish at $11.23 for a drop of nearly 4%. NGL Energy Partners LP closed down 15 cents at $2.59 for a loss of 5.47%. OGE Energy Corp. gained 24 cents to hit $31.39 for a 1% increase.

ONE Gas Inc gained a dime a share at $76.65. ONEOK, Inc. lost 39 cents to end the day at $38.41 for a 1% drop. Ovintiv Inc finished down 68 cents at $13.89 for a nearly 5% loss.

PHX Minerals Inc lost 2 cents per share for a 1% drop to $2.30. 
SandRidge Energy Inc. fell 7 cents to $3.09 per share or a loss of 2.22%. WPX Energy Inc fell one cent to $7.90. Williams Companies Inc suffered a 61 cent loss to $20.14 or about a 3% decline.
Other energy stocks had the same mixed trading on Monday as the Texas Energy Report indicated.

Enterprise Products Partners (EPD) down 0.12 at 19.73 – change 0.61%

EOG Resources (EOG) down 0.66 at 48.94 – change 1.34%

ExxonMobil (XOM) up 0.14 at 41.74 – change 0.33%

Kinder Morgan (KMI) down 0.19 at 13.64 – change 1.38%

Marathon Oil Corp. (MRO) unchanged at 6.63 – change 0.00%

National Oilwell Varco (NOV) up 0.06 at 13.56 – change 0.44%

Occidental Petroleum (OXY) down 0.27 at 17.39 – change 1.53%

Parsley Energy (PE) down 0.21 at 13.76 – change 1.51%

Phillips 66 (PSX) up 0.60 at 69.33 – change 0.87%

Pioneer Natural Resources (PXD) down 1.84 at 110.65 – change 1.64%

Valero (VLO) down 0.59 at 55.09 – change 1.06%
