Crude oil supplies grew at the Cushing Hub in Oklahoma in the past week while they fell more than 4 million barrels across the U.S. during the same time period.
A report from the U.S. Energy Information Administration showed Cushing recorded a gain of 600,000 barrels. It had 23.5 million barrels the week of May 23 and the total increased to 24.1 million barrels by May 30.
At the same time, the nation’s stored crude went from 440.4 million barrels the week of May 23 to 436.1 million barrels a week later. By May 30, the U.S. crude total fell 4.3 million barrels.
