Crude oil stocks fell at Cushing Hub and across the US in past week

 

A new government report shows crude stocks declined across the U.S. by nearly 4 million barrels in the past week and also took a dip at the Cushing Hub in Oklahoma.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported the U.S. crude oil supplies fell 3.7 million barrels, from 436.1 million barrels the week of May 30 to 432.4 million barrels as of June 6, 2025. The most recent total is still 37.3 million barrels below the 459.7 million barrels reported in storage as of the week of June 7, 2024.

Cushing’s oil supplies fell 400,000 barrels as of the week of June 6 when they totaled 23.7 million barrels. The decline was from the 24.1 million barrels recorded on May 30 of this year. Compared to a year ago, Cushing’s oil stocks are 10.1 million below the 33.8 million barrels.
