Oil and gas industry to feel closing of Osage Indian Affairs Office

 

The oil and gas industry in Oklahoma’s Osage County could feel the impact of DOGE as the Trump agency proposes closing the Bureau of Indian Affairs Office in Pawhuska.

A report by KTUL TV news in Tulsa indicated the termination of the office by the Department of Government Efficiency could “create a hurdle for Osage Nation and individual oil producers in Osage County.
