It says a solar power facility agreement would make sure the operator would be responsible for removing the solar power facilities from the landowner’s property when such an operation is decommissioned.
Further, the solar operator would “clear, clean, and remove from the property each solar energy device, transformer, and substation” and also remove the foundations for such devices “to a depth of at least three feet.”
The bill also calls for the filling of holes with the same type of soil found on the property.
Another bill by Rep. Boles, HB1375, would have the corporation commission conduct a study on nuclear energy generation in the state.
