Wobbly is typical says State Treasurer of December revenue trend

Oklahoma State Treasurer Todd Russ says the state saw a boost in revenue from the gross production tax on gas and oil but he still suggested it was in the process of making adjustments.

“While the state’s revenue trends may seem wobbly, this is typical for the current economic conditions caused by Fed adjustments,” said Russ in releasing the December 2024 revenue figures compared to November of last year.

Oil and gas in December brought in $79.2 million which represented an improvement of $12.5 million or 18.8% more than November.
