The Oklahoma Broadband Office will officially launch broadband expansion projects with internet service provider BOLT to improve access to high-speed internet service in four northeastern Oklahoma counties.
The Wednesday morning ceremony will take place in Vinita.
The projects will significantly enhance digital access to provide economic opportunity for residents and businesses in the area.

Background:
These projects are among some 175 that are funded by the ARPA State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund and ARPA Capital Projects Fund that will greatly improve high-speed internet access throughout the state, but especially in rural Oklahoma. Awarded grants administered by the Oklahoma Broadband Office will connect more than 70,000 homes and businesses in 57 of the state’s 77 counties.
