The U.S. Energy Department just handed out more than $2 billion this week to two projects creating regional U.S. hydrogen hubs, the kind of project Oklahoma failed to land in an agreement with Arkansas and Louisiana.
The department committed up to $1.2 billion in federal cot share for the Gulf Coast Hydrogen Hub in Texas and at least $1 billion to the Midwest Hydrogen Hub to serve Michigan, Illinois, Indian and Iowa.
