Remember more than a year ago how excited Oklahoma was as it attempted to partner with Arkansas and Louisiana in the proposed creation of a hydrogen hub project. The three states had hoped to earn part of the $7 billion in federal grants to build regional hydrogen hubs.
What’s happened since? Possibly, waning support for such ambitious plans. Their design, according to the U.S. Energy Department was aimed at attrating private-sector investments to pay for the construction costs.
But there are indications the private investors haven’t stepped forward as much as the government expected, reported Canary Media.
