A restart of its nuclear power plant in Iowa?
It’s what NextEra Energy is considering. Known for its wind and solar operations, the company is exploring a possible restart of a nuclear power plant it once operated in the state.
The company started talks with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission because of the jump in demand for electrical power to feed AI data centers and elsewhere.
