ODOT to discuss I-40 Corridor Study in Del City

The Oklahoma Transportation Department is preparing f or a major bridge replacement on Interstate 40 over Sunnyland Road in Del City.

This week,the agency will hold a public meeting to discuss the project. It will be held Aug. 22 at the Del City Community Center. At the same time, ODOT explained that a virtual open house is now available for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation’s I-40 corridor study between Reno Ave. and Hudiburg Dr. in Del City.

The I-40 corridor being studied extends from Reno Ave. east to I-240 and has been split into three sections. Section one includes Reno Ave. to Hudiburg Dr., section two includes Hudiburg Dr. to Douglas Blvd., and section three includes Douglas Blvd. to I-240. The study on section one is now available for review, here, studies for section two and three are still in the planning phase. A public meeting on section one is set for Aug. 22, and ODOT staff will be available to answer questions.
