June saw a drop in gross production tax revenue in Oklahoma

A recent federal bank survey that indicated a continue slump in oil and gas activity in June in Oklahoma and other nearby states was confirmed by a new report from the State Treasurer’s office.

Treasurer Todd Russ reported Monday gross production tax revenues in June totaled $83.1 million, a decline of $4 million or 4.6% from the previous month.

The report showed gross production tax revenue from natural gas totaled $24.9 million while the same revenue from oil was $57 million.
