Denver’s new natural gas restrictions might be challenged by propane group

The National Propane Gas Association is reported to be possibly joining a legal challenge to new regulations to restrict natural gas appliances in commercial and multifamily buildings in Denver, Colorado.

Colorado Public Radio reports it is in resonse to new building codes implemented several months ago by the city of Denver as it updated ordinances to reducee natural gas usage.

The new codes require property owners to begin installation of electric systems in 2025.
