Tuesday is when U.S. Sen. Markwayne Mullin joins Oklahoma House Speaker Charles McCall to begin a four-stop official tour of the state.
They call their tour a State and Federal Partnership Series: ‘Serving Oklahoma 101.’ The Senator and Speaker intend to hold a series of informative panel-style discussions regarding the role of state and federal leadership, their differences in responsibility and how Oklahoma’s local, state and federal leadership can work together to address many of the state’s most important priorities.
Each community-focused conversation between Senator Mullin and Speaker McCall is open to the public and will be followed by an audience Q&A. The goal of this series is to educate Oklahomans on their representation and equip local leadership with the tools to best meet their local and federal needs.
The stops will be in Stillwater Tuesday morning, Wednesday afternoon in Afton; Thursday morning at Northeastern State University Muskogee Campus Administration Building in Muskogee; and Thursday afternoon in Sallisaw.
