Texas U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz is taking some good-natured ribbing over his leadership in urging the Senate to approve the reauthorization of the Federal Aviation Administration.
The bill in question had the support last week of U.S. Sen. James Lankford who took to the Senate floor to argue for approval. But Cruz, who typically is seen as a conservative rabble-rouser and longtime trouble-maker for leadership, is seen as the serious senator who wants to see the measure passed and passed quickly.
