The first quarter earnings report for Tulsa’s Vital Energy, Inc. will be released in a few weeks and investors will learn whether the company’s success in the Permian Basin continued for another quarter.
The company announced the release will be made after the market closes on Wednesday, May 8. It will be followed by a conference calling featuring company leaders on Thursday, May 9. The conference call is scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m.
Vital saw marked improvement in earnings in the fourth quarter, jumping from $4.9 million in net income in the third quarter to $281.4 million in the fourth quarter. Its fourth quarter oil production also increased by 4%.
It also closed on three Permian Basin acquisitions and added 185 new oil-weighted locations in its target areas.
