Local nonprofits funded by Devon Energy’s DEI grants

As part of its commitment to supporting diverse communities, Devon Energy awarded Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Grants to sixteen local nonprofits.  

“In supporting these organizations, we hope to foster projects that promote access and resources for all Oklahomans,” said Marla Freeman, Devon community relations supervisor. “We feel honored to be a part of their journey toward impactful change.”  

Devon’s employee-led panel reviewed applications and selected the following recipients:  

·         Black Liberated Arts Center 

·         Cleats for Kids 

·         HeartLine 

·         India Association of Oklahoma 

·         Latino Community Development Agency 

·         Lillian Timber Farms 

·         LifeShare Foundation 

·         NewView Oklahoma 

·         Not Your Average Joe 

·         Oklahoma City Pride Alliance 

·         Positive Tomorrows 

·         Santa Fe Family Life Center 

·         Shelterwell 

·         Sisu Youth Services 

·         The Genesis Project 

·         Wings Special Needs Community  

Devon awarded a total of 34 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Grants across Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Wyoming and North Dakota.
