Oklahoma Energy Producers Alliance convention starts in OKC

 

Vertical well drillers in Oklahoma gather Friday in Oklahoma City for the annual convention of the Oklahoma Energy Producers Alliance.

Held at the Embassy Suites Hotel on North Phillips Avenue, the convention will begin with a 9 a.m. welcome by David Little, OEPA Chairman.

A general session on Energy Rogue will begin at 9:15 a.m. featuring Bill Shanahan and Brian Pieri of Energy Rogue.

Eric Ward of Rose Rock Environmental Services will hold the 10:15 a.m. session focused on “Preparing for Methane Tax.”

A session scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. will deal with a legislative update regarding bills affecting the oil and gas industry.

Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond will address the convention during a 1:30 p.m. session.

The last session at 2:30 in the afternoon will be on the topicof “So you have been told you are responsible for division of interest payments.” Presenters will be Kody Impson and Benjamin Parker of Martindale Consultants, Inc.

The convention will close at 3:30 p.m.
