If President Biden’s decarbonization plan works as intended, it might mean corn will be replaced as the king of all crops in the U.S.
Under his plan, huge government subsidies will be offered to boost demand for soybean oil which is key to renewable diesel production. It could result in soybeans becoming the number one crop reported Bloomberg.
At least 20 projects are underway across the nation to build soybean processing plants.
