As the dollar strengthened and U.S. crude and gasoline stocks made a surprise jump, crude oil prices fell for a second consecutive day in trading on Wednesday. At the same time, it proved to be a strong day for Oklahoma energy stocks.
May natural gas fell 7 cents to $1.72 per 1,000 cubic feet.
Most Oklahoma energy stocks had strong performances on Wednesday with a 6% gain for Empire Petroleum Corp.
