Look for a new look on downtown Oklahoma City’s Devon Tower.
Devon Energy intends to spend $3.5 million to upgrade the LED lighting to meet the expectations the company had when the tower was completed in 2012.
Standing 844 feet tall with 50 stories and a million square feet in office space, it is the tallest building in Oklahoma.
The Oklahoman reported Devon filed a request for a building permit to install new lighting in the notches of the tower. The paper quoted a Devon company official who said the work will begin sometime this year and take a year to complete.
