Lower bills for Public Service Co. customers in New Mexico

Arizona utility extends reduction in electricity prices until April - Rose Law Group Reporter

Customers of Public Service Co. of New Mexico started seeing lower electricity bills as of Monday this week.

The utility said bills were expected to decline by nearly $6.50 a month on average, an estimate based on an annualized monthly estimate for the average residential cusstoer using 600 kilowatt-hours a month, stated the utility.

The Albuquerque Journal reports the lower bills are expected following a decision by the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission that the utility should decrease its customer rates. Not exactly what the utility asked of the commission.
