Another dividend was declared Wednesday by OGE Energy Corp., parent company of Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company.
The first quarter dividend will amount to $0.4182 per commonshare of stock.
Payment will be made on Jan. 26, 2024 and only to shareholders of record as of Jan. 8, 2024.
According to investment analyst Koyfin, OGE has a long history of paying dividends and consistently has increased its dividend payout for 17 consecutive years.
OGE Energy Corp.’s (OGE) dividend yield is 4.75%, which means that for every $100 invested in the company’s stock, investors would receive $4.75 in dividends per year, according to the Koyfin website. It stated that OGE Energy Corp.’s payout ratio is 79.33%,meaing 79.33% of the company earnings are paid out as dividends.
