The Oklahoma Corporation Commission sent out a “Scam Alert!” this week.
In it, the commission cautioned customers that “If you get a “warning of violation” or similar email purporting to be from the Oklahoma Corporation Commission – be wary!”
The advisory told those who might receive such an email that urged recipients to click on a line in the body of the email to learn more, “don’t do it.”
“Call the Oklahoma Corporation Commission directly if you have any questions about an email.”
