More gains in crude stocks reported at Cushing and across the nation

 

The buildup of crude oil stocks in the U.S. continued for another week and the increase included the amount of oil stored at the Cushing Hub in Oklahoma.

The nation saw an increase of 8.7 million barrels of crude oil from November 10 to November 17, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. The U.S. count totaled 448.1 million barrels as of the 17th while a week earlier, it was 439.4 million barrels.

The nation started the month with about 424 million barrels of crude oil.

The Cushing hub gained 900,000 barrels over the week period from Nov. 10 to Nov. 17. The latest total was 25.9 million barrels of crude oil compared to 25 million barrels the previous week.

Cushing held 21.8 million barrels as of October 6.
