Will Williams Cos. have another strong quarter?

 

Williams is the latest Oklahoma energy company to announce a release date for its third quarter earnings and no doubt, its shareholders will be anixous to see if the strong second quarter carried into the third quarter.

The Tulsa-based company, with 33,000 miles of pipelines across the country, plans to make the release after the market closes on Wednesday, Nov. 1 of this year. Company leaders will take part in an earnings conference call and webcast with analylsts and investors the next day, Thursday Nov. 2 at 8:30 a.m. Central Time.

 

At the end of the second quarter, the company reported net income of $547 million or 45 cents a diluted share—-which was 36% better than the second quarter of 2022. Adjusted net income was up 5% from the previous year and totaled $515 million or 42 cents per diluted share. Adjusted EBITDA was $1.611 billion, or $115 millon and 8% better than a year earlier.
