New Mexico solar credit program runs out of money

It seems thousands of New Mexico homeowners who sought a 10% state tax credit to offset the cost of their solar systems aren’t eligible. The state program offering the credit ran out of money.

Empty pockets.

And there’s not much they can do about it because once they’re locked out of the credit funding, they have to wait another year because the credit can only be approved in the year of the installation of the solar  system.
