Congressman Brecheen Is Critical of Biden’s Ag Policy

In case you missed it, Oklahoma Congressman Josh Brecheen fought back against the Biden Administration’s war on America’s farmers and ranchers during a recent House Budget Committee markup on the budget for Fiscal Year 2024.
“It is absolutely certain that rural communities have been greatly impacted by this Administration. Since this Administration took office, the average family of four is spending $1,100 more per month to buy the exact same goods and services as they were in January 2021,” said Brecheen. “I grew up ranching and I still ranch. When you talk to farmers and ranchers they will tell you that their biggest issue with the federal government is the increase in costs…Specifically, the price of agriculture is up 23% in just two years under this Administration. We need to end this hardship for families, farmers, and ranchers and to do that we need to get serious about helping them not only directly but also by cutting the runaway spending.”
