Oklahoma energy stocks were lower on Tuesday along with crude oil prices. The drop in crude is being blamed on investors who continue to be worried about the struggling economy in China and how it’s affecting crude imports.
US benchmark, West Texas Intermediate dropped 37 cents to close at $80.35 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Global benchmark Brent crude fell 43 cents or 0.5% to $84.03 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.
Natural gas finished down 0.07 at $2.56 – change 2.74%
Most Oklahoma energy stocks recorded morderate losses in Tuesday’s trading with at least one major exception…Matrix Services Co. which recorded a 23% gain for the day.
