Carter County well has 1,300 barrels of oil a day in production

 

A new completion report filed this week shows Continental Resources Inc. drilled a southern Oklahoma well with production of nearly 1,300 barrels of oil a day.

The Courbet 16-15-9xhm, drilled at 15 1S 3W or about one mile northeast of Ratliff City in Carter County, produced 1,289 barrels of oil and 1,547 Mcf of natural gas a day from the Sycamore formation.

The well was completed Feb. 3, 2023 and had a drilled depth of 19,411 feet and a true vertical depth of 7,749 feet, according to the completion report. The well was spud in November of 2022.
