Ovintiv extends its Kingfisher County success

 

Ovintiv USA Inc. continued with its historic success of major producing oil wells in Kingfisher County with the filing of completion reports on 3-wells on a single pad that had combined production of nearly 2,700 barrels of oil a day.

The three Sarah wells are located at 29 15N 7W, a site one mile north of the town of Okarche and on the west side of highway 81.

The Sarah 1507 3h-29 was the largest producer with 1,122 barrels of oil a day and 1,352 Mcf of natural gas. Drilled depth in the Mississippian formation was 14,172 feet while the true vertical depth, according to the completion report, was 8,663 feet. The well was spud in September 2022 and completed January 28 of this year.

The Sarah 1507 4h-29 produced 930 barrels of oil a day and 1,157 Mcf of natural gas. Its drilled depth was 14,209 while the true vertical depth was 8,644 feet according to the completion report. The well was also spud in September of last year with completion in late January 2023.

The third well, the Sarah 1507 2h-29, produced 638 barrels of oil a day and 1,380 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 14,250 feet. The completion report showed the true vertical depth was 8,576 feet. The well had an August 2022 spud date with completion January 28, 2023.

The three wells had combined production of 2,690 barrels of oil a day.
