The residents of the Four-Corners area of New Mexico will soon see the demolition of the long-time San Juan Generating Station where for years, the sky was filled with smoke from the plant.
Public Service Company of New Mexico indicated recently that demolition of the plant that was closed last year will begin, first with the giant smoke stacks, then the rest of the station.
A company spokeswoman delivered details of the project to a Legislative Finance Committee reported the New Mexico Political Report.
