Another set of Blaine County wells was completed this spring by Devon Energy Production Company.
Devon reported the two Pork Chop wells, drilled on a single pad at 3 14N 11W, a site about 1 mile southeast of the community of Greenfield, had combined production of 679 barrels of oil and more than 14,000 Mcf of natural gas a day.
The Pork Chop 3_34-14n-11w 5hx, completed April 5, 2023 and with a drilled depth of 21,813 feet in the Mississippian formation, produced 562 barrels of oil a day and 8,126 Mcf of natural gas. Its true vertical depth was 11,803 and the well was spud Sept. 16, 2022, according to the completion report.
The second well, the Pork Chop 3-14n-11w 3h, produced 117 barrels of oil a day and 5,912 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 17,113 feet. The completion report showed the well, spud in September 2022, had a true vertical depth of 11,690 feet.
