Ever since some of the major energy companies, BP, ConocoPhillips, WPX and others bailed out of northwest New Mexico’s San Juan Basin, drilling for natural gas hasn’t been profitable.
But the New Mexico Political Report indicated this week things have taken a road for the better, thanks to a recent uptick in natural gas prices.
The Report said some industry representatives believe there could be a resurgence in drilling activity.
