Reports show extensive drilling efforts by two Oklahoma City energy companies

The latest completion reports on file with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission show just how busy two energy companies have been in different regions of the state.

BCE-Mach in the northwest and CPRP Services in the south central part of Oklahoma.

Oklahoma City-based CPRP Services LLC had more success in McClain County with two wells on a single pad that had combined production of 2,300 barrels of oil a day.

Both Dogfish Fed wells were located on a pad site at 6 5N 4W, a site a few miles south of Dibble and had their production out of the Woodford formation.

The Dogfish 0604 31-30-3wxh was the biggest producer with 1,288 barrels of oil a day and 1,833 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 22,307 feet. Completion was Jan. 15, 2023 and the completion report showed a true vertical depth of 11,503 feet. The well had been spud in October of 2022.

The second well, the Dogfish Fed 0604 31-30-2wxh, produced 1,012 barrels of oil a day and 1,537 Mcf of natural gas. Completion was also in January of this year with a drilled depth of 21,618 feet and a true vertical depth of 11,598 feet. The well was spud in October of 2022 according to the completion report.

Newly filed completion reports show the extent of BCE-Mach III LLC’s drilling efforts in the STACK play. A three-well project in Kingfisher County yielded combined production of more than 1,000 barrels of oil a day.

Two of the wells drilled on a single pad located 8 miles west of Crescent, 9 17N 5W were completed in April 2023. The Lincoln Southeast Oswego Unit 32-3ho produced 138 barrels of oil a day and 265 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 11,860 feet in the Oswego formation and had a true vertical depth of 6,279 feet. The completion report showed the well had been spud in March of this year.

The Lincoln Southeast Oswego Unit 31 3ho produced 196 barrels of oil a day and 378 Mcf of natural gas. Drilled depth was listed at 12,070 feet and the completion report showed a true vertical depth of 6,296 feet. It too was spud in March of 2023.

A third well, the Lincoln Southeast Oswego Unit 94-4ho, was drilled at 30 17N 5W, a site about two miles southwest of the first two wells. Its production was 748 barrels of oil a day along with 772 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 11,904 feet. The completion report showed a true vertical depth of 6,347 feet following a March 2023 spud date.

But BCE-Mach  was also busy in Woods County where it had completions on two wells. The Ann Shirley 35-28-15 1h, located at 2 27N 15W, a site northwest of Alva produced 120 barrels of oil a day and 1,669 Mcf of natural gas from the Mississippi Lime formation. Drilled depth was 10,516 feet and the completion report showed a true vertical depth of 5,424 feet. The well had been spud in December of 2022.

A second Woods County well drilled by BCE-Mach showed production of only 27 barrels of oil a day and 290 Mcf of natural gas. The Kamas 30-29-17 2h, completed in March and located north of Freedom and only a few miles from the state line had a drilled depth of 10,892 feet. The completion report showed a true vertical depth of 5,585 following a February spud.
