A well near Lindsay produced 1,100 barrels of oil a day according to a completion report filed by Marathon Oil Company.
The Dean 0404 1-30-19sxh, located at 30 4N 4W which is only about 5 miles southwest of Lindsay in Garvin County, also had production of 1,100 Mcf of natural gas when completed in February of this year.
Drilled depth was 21,108 feet and the completion report showed a true vertical depth of 11,035 feet. The well was spud in August of 2022.
Another McClain County well was also recently completed. EOG Resources Inc. filed the completion report on the Wilson 0508 1h located at 4 8N 4W or 2 miles south of Newcastle. The well produced 322 barrels of oil a day and 293 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 19,733 into the Woodford formation. The completion report showed a true vertical depth of 9,603 feet following a November 2022 spud.
