A judge with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission will hold a third day of hearing the settlement agreement reached by the Attorney General, AARP and the Commission’s Public Utilities Division in support of a $155 million rate increase requested by Public Service Company.

Another full-day of testimony and questioning of witnesses for and against the settlement agreement was heard Tuesday by the Administrative Law Judge.

Testimony will resume at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday. The hearing has not been on the merits of the rate hike request but rather on the stipulation and settlement agreement that was opposed by four other groups, including the Oklahoma Industrial Energy Consumers, the Department of Defense, the Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma and the Alliance for Electrical Restructuring in Oklahoma.
