Pittsburg County is the source of two more Calyx Energy wells

Calyx Energy III reports two gas wells in McIntosh County - Oklahoma Energy  Today

 

Recently-filed completion reports show Tulsa’s Calyx Energy III LLC with two natural gas wells on a single pad in Pittsburg County and combined production was nearly 24,000n Mcf.

Located several miles northwest of the city of McAlester at 3 7N 13E, the two Fairway wells were completed in December of 2022 with production coming from the Woodford formation.

The Fairway 3-3-27wh was the largest of the two wells with production of 13,417 Mcf of natural gas along with 5 barrels of oil daily. Drilled depth was 16,758 feet and the completion report showed a true vertical depth of 5,014 feet. The well was spud in August 2022.

The Fairway 1-2-26wh had production of 10,646 Mcf of natural gas and 6 barrels of oil a day from a drilled depth of 16,931 feet. The completion report showed a true vertical depth of 4,975 feet and the well was spud in September of 2022.

Calyx has a long  established record of drilling and producing natural gas wells in the region west of the Indian Nations Turnpike and south of the Canadian River.
